Restore Ringy purchases without buying again

Start with the correct store account

Confirm which Apple or Google account originally made the purchase. Installing the app on another phone is not proof that the same store account is active for purchases. The account used for other services on the phone may be different.

Restore in the app

Open Ringy’s purchase or settings screen and use Restore Purchases where offered. Keep the device online while it checks. Then return to the feature or ringtone you expected to unlock and check its access state.

Apple explains that eligible non-consumable purchases and subscriptions may be restorable, while consumed items are not. The type of purchase matters. A cancelled or expired subscription should not be treated as an active entitlement simply because it once appeared on a receipt.

If restoration does not work

Record the exact error and your app version. Check for the purchase in the store account’s history. If a charge exists but the app still cannot restore the expected access, contact Ringy support. Do not repeatedly tap purchase to troubleshoot a restore failure.

What restoration does not necessarily restore

Restoring access is not the same as recovering locally created audio. Keep backups of source recordings and exported files. It also does not merge unrelated Apple Tone Store purchases into Ringy, or guarantee that an iPhone entitlement works in the Android app.

When requesting help, specify the platform, purchase type and feature that remains locked. Share private receipts only through the support process when necessary, and never send account passwords.
